Frequently Asked Questions

Will the 3D-printed sole feel hard?

No. The lattice is designed to compress and recover, so the sole feels softer than a solid rubber or leather sole. The forefoot is tuned to flex, the heel to absorb.

Do I need to break them in?

No. The full-grain calf napa upper is soft from day one, and the collar is shaped to sit gently on the heel. Wear them straight out of the box.

Are they lighter than regular dress shoes?

The 3D-printed lattice structure uses less material per volume than a solid sole. Specific weight depends on size — see the Specifications section.

Can the sole be resoled if it wears out?

Contact our customer service team for evaluation. We'll assess the sole and recommend the best path forward.

Can I machine-wash them?

No. The upper and sole are bonded, not stitched — machine washing will damage the construction. Wipe with a damp cloth and use a leather conditioner as needed.
